Breaker Control Switches:
Breaker Control Switches are essentially spring return switches having spring return from either sides of neutral position at 45°. Other switching angle like 30°, 60° and 90° can be provided with following feature
Lost Motion Contacts (NAT & NAC)
- Lost motion contacts are available at rear side of switch that indicates last operated position of breaker
- These contacts are also known Bell alarm contacts
- Any number of such NAC & NAT
- This is a mechanical device incorporated in the spring return switch which avoids any two successive operation. Generally successive closing operations are prevented, keeping trip free
To prevent unathorized operation of the switch, center key lock can be provided on the top of the switch. It is lockable only in four positions at 90°(0°, 90°, 180°, 270°) Two Varieties of locks are available
- Lever Lock(L)
- Tee Type or Wing type lock(T).
